He has been instrumental to numerous tech launches, acquisitions, pivots, and exits from a string of successful startups that spans telephony, high-performance computing, crowdsourcing, bioinformatics and security — over twenty-five startup launches across more than thirty years. Career projects span high-throughput cloud systems (an early-2010s social networking and marketing platform supporting massive concurrent counts), scientific analysis pipelines for genetics and satellite imagery, and multi-continent high-resiliency financial deployments. Patrick is currently helping organisations shape their Artificial Intelligence and large-data strategies through the current technology inflection.
